COME TOGETHER
engagement SERIES
The Come Together program is designed to engage Local Theater Company audiences and artists by fostering spaces of belonging. By creating opportunities for conversation, learning, and deeper understanding, Come Together invites audiences to step inside new plays. We enter as strangers, but we’ll leave having shared a communal experience. Come Together events are open to the public and offered free of charge.
POST-SHOW CONVERSATIONS
Post-Show Conversations allow audience members to discuss, process, and question the work. These conversations are facilitated to unearth the wisdom of the room. Audience members engage in small group conversations and then share their discoveries with the larger group.
COMMUNITY MEALS
Community Meals are presented in concert with full productions and provide audience members the opportunity to break break together and discuss the new work they’ve just seen in small groups. These communal experiences explore the work and our authentic responses from our
lived experiences.
EXPERT INSIGHTS
Get the inside scoop and learn about historical events, cultures, or circumstances that inform the world of a play. In these pre- or post-show conversations, subject-matter experts share contextual insights into the world of the play.
BIPOC Convenings
A quarterly gathering centering the BIPOC theater artist experience. BIPOC Convenings create space to support, encourage, and strengthen one another, and provide an opportunity to be centered, with care, with other artists.
