LOCATION
Auditions will be held at Mizel Arts and Culture Center- 350 S. Dahlia St, Denver CO 80246. Please enter through the main theatre lobby on the south side of the building and check in at the counter at least 5 minutes prior to your appointment. DRAG QUEEN MAGIC or The Torturous Purgatorial Experience of One Miss Letta Celebrate

Drag Queen Letta Celebrate just wants to live her life lip-syncing Lady Gaga at birthdays, weddings, and the occasional bar mitzvah, but when a strange woman asks for help after losing everything, Letta finds herself desperate to save her or be doomed to repeat the same day over and over.

ABOUT THE SCHEDULE
Rehearsals will begin on September 8, 2026 at a central location to be determined. Rehearsal schedules tend to be set for 22 hours a week, primarily on evenings and weekends with at least one day off per week. The exact rehearsal schedule will be determined once casting is complete, and daytime rehearsals and specific days off will be determined by actor and staff availability.
Performances will be Thursdays through Sundays at the Dairy Art Center in Boulder from October 1-October 26, 2026 and from October 27-November 1 at the Wolf Theater at the Mizel Arts and Culture Center in Denver.

LETTA CELEBRATE – 30s-40s, Drag Queen, got it together
NANCY – 30s, F, a fucking mess
This EPA is being coordinated by Local Theater Company (LTC)’s internal casting department. Both Artistic Directors, Nick Chase and Betty Hart will be in attendance at this audition.
LTC is an Actors’ Equity Association ITC company based in Boulder, CO dedicated to the discovery, development and production of new American theatrical works (plays, small-cast musicals and devised theater projects)..

$400 weekly salary- ITC contract.

All performers: Please prepare the assigned sides appropriate to the character of your choice. Sides will be sent with your appointment confirmation. A reader will be provided.
