TEACHING ARTIST APPLICATION

Local Theater Company (LTC) presents two arts education programs: LocalWRITES and The Art of Play. LocalWRITES is a standards-based playwriting program offered to middle school students in the Boulder Valley and St. Vrain Valley School Districts. The Art of Play is offered to 4th and 5th grade students in the Boulder Valley School District. Teaching artists can apply below. F.A.Q.

How many educators are in each classroom?
All LTC education programs provide two educators—Lead and Associate—to each classroom, one of whom is English-Spanish bilingual.

What is the pay?
$45-$80/hour depending on program and position (associate vs. lead educator)

When do the programs run?
LocalWRITES
Fall 2023 - days & times TBD (after school hours)
Spring 2023 - days & times TBD (during school hours)

The Art of Play
Fall 2023 - Monday through Thursday, 2:45-3:55 (educators are hired for one or two classes/week)
Spring 2024 - days and times, TBD
