Local Theater Company is a nonprofit organization that discovers, develops and produces new American plays. Based in Boulder, Colorado, we bring exceptional, timely stories to the stage. In 2019, we proudly employed more than 120 equity and non-equity artists and designers from around the country. We are an Actor’s Equity Association Small Professional Theater and are deeply committed to diversity and inclusion both on and off stage

Our programs are designed for audiences to explore culturally relevant stories, be stimulated and inspired to action, all while strengthening our creative community.
